Off to camp

December 4th 2011 15:33
I have finally graduated high school. I see this camp as a reward of sorts for putting up with 12 years of schooling. Jet boating, kayaking, canoeing, horse riding, absailing, sand boarding, 4wding =D

Time

October 8th 2011 12:32
Weekend: the days when workers are permitted time to buy back the products produced by their companions during the week

Evening: the time when it is necessary to occupy workers' minds with anything but what they did during the days so they will be willing to do it gain the following day

Day: the time when workers produce what they need to occupy their minds during the evening and their time during the weekend

Break free of this shit!

Realisation

August 15th 2011 01:34
I have found a new method to acheiving access to a higher plane than my peers and fellows at this place, both physically, and mentally.

I found a new wall to climb and access the vast, connected, network of this place I'm in.

I found the appreciation of yourself, looking inward to your own thoughts, desires, and morals to see what makes you happy. Following these paths that I've found, I'm on my way to real happiness.

A lot of my writings are focused on the 'own' being, the importance of someone's free thought and independance. It just strikes a particular card with me is all.

Live Your Life

June 14th 2011 14:23
Life isn't a spectacle. Spectacles make you a spectator. Your life is yours to live.

When a football team wins, or scores a goal, all across their fan base people yell and holler 'We've won!', "We've scored a goal!". It is the football team winning, not their fans. The fans have no control over the game or its outcome, this is where a person is a spectator. Yet they still attach themselves closer to the team than they do to their own community

Life is existence when it feels worth waking up for in the morning. Life is written about in epic poatry, love songs, Shakespeare's plays and sonnets; survival is treated in medical textbooks, urban planning reports, and egonomics presentation. Life is glorious, heartbreaking, extravagant; survival without life, is ridiculous, burdensome, absurd.

The Bar and the Brother

August 14th 2010 03:18
This is a small piece of fiction I wrote for my year 11 English class. I got quite good marks for it, around about 70-80% if I remember correctly. I have wrote better shorts than this, although my best piece, in my opinion at least, I can not get back due to some teachers and admins bureaucratic crap.

Afterlife

August 9th 2007 12:44
Today in maths me and a friend were talking about random stuff. One thin was what happens after you die. I've heard of reincarnation, heaven, hell, limbo, just dead in the ground thats it, and many other stuff. What I thought was interesting was the multiple heaven theory.

Evil Lair On A Budget

April 25th 2007 07:23
Back in the good old days . . . er, bad old days, running an evil empire was a lot simpler: it was a lot easier (and cheaper) to find a remote and forbidding location to put a fortress from which to launch one's diabolical schemes, minions were relatively cheap and generally pretty reliable, and one could count on being able to support a moderate-sized campaign of world-threatening efforts from the returns of a reasonable investment portfolio, especially if one timed stock trades to coincide with relevant threats against humankind.
